We do control our own lives once we become aware of our right to choose what to believe. Most of us were never aware enough to know that what we focus on and what we choose to accept from media,religions,parents, etc.as true but when a person really becomes aware of what they accept into their minds and what they reject from their minds is when they really do take control and are no longer sheep or robots but are consiciously aware in body,mind and soul. Our beliefs do create our reality and but most did not realized they had a choice in what to believe or not from the time they were born.
