Commentary
When the topic of Water Fluoridation came up in a local Sceptics Society’s Facebook page, I decided to share my experience and conclusions. A week long, 300+ comment, Orwellian nightmare of a debate ensued.

Once broken down into its simplest elements, the madness of water fluoridation becomes so obvious, so ridiculous, that in a strange way… it becomes hilarious! See poster for full details:
First, establish that moral arguments supersede arguments from effect.
Second, show that fluoride (as used in water fluoridation) is a drug.
Follow the inevitable logic: fluoride is being added to the public water… drugs are being added to the public water… people are drinking the public water… people are drinking drugs.
Three issues arise, each of which clinch the case against the morality of water fluoridation:
The three moral problems with public water fluoridation:

—————————2 – medication with uncontrolled dosage, and
—————————3 – mass medication without consideration of individual needs.
The decision to add fluoride to public water is not for dentists to decide. It’s a decision we can all know and understand:
Public Water Fluoridation is immoral and unethical.
It’s safety and effectiveness are irrelevant.
Do not fluoridate public water.
